~ Melody's Departure ~ 

Evening out with Miss Melody Q.

Just after her Salon/Spa day I asked Melody if she would like to grab a bite to eat before her return home to Pennsylvania. She then mentioned that she was so famished after a long makeover day that she would love something yummy.  When I suggested the "Seaside Diner" she was super excited and couldn't wait to go!

Cecilia and Paloma are regulars here at the diner.

Sully Walker is always working
 hard hustling those tables making money
 for a new surfboard and gas for his scooter...

May I introduce the handsome Santiago Lopez, grill
master here at the Seaside Diner.  All the girls call
him "Sandy" and just love how he makes a
fresh squeezed lemonade...

Before his piano lessons my little
brother, MJ stopped by for a few
minutes to wish Melody a farewell
 and a safe journey home...

I wanted to give Melody a surprise
departure gift...

She was so happy that I saved her original bands...

All tucked away neatly and adorned
with a beautiful bow atop.  Her mom
will be so excited...

Leaving Starbucks to catch her ride back home.
I enjoyed making friends with Melody Q.
I hope her mom will be happy with her spa day
here with us at "My Doll Times".  See you
soon after the holidays for our next meet and
greet at Tysons Corner American Girl....

Melody's arrival to our Marylands Eastern Shore...

Melody's appointment day at
"My Doll Times Salon & Spa"... 

Checked in and excited about her first visit with us...

Patiently awaiting for her more tighter, energetic
and poseable body...

Now disassembled and on her way to
to receive her first restringing and all
over body and spa treatment...

Conditioning and Facial treatment...

After her consultation, I convinced her
to keep her classic "Girl Of Today" look.
Her and I discussed how wonderful she's
held up after these past 2 decades.  I felt
all she needed was a little freshening up along
with a quick blow dry, slight trim and a snip
or two on her bangs...

Just a little flat ironing and a slight flip under and
Melody's hair is now shiny and gorgeous once again!...

Now on to the final touches. 
My little brother MJ takes over
and performs his expertise with his
impeccable sense of style and color...

We are feeling excited. Melody is happy and now transformed
once again into her classic "Girl Of Today" style...

Miss Melody Q is all dressed and ready for her After Spa Photo.

She can't wait to return home and tell her sisters about her experience.

Melody's creator, Pleasant Rowland would be so proud!

Two Thumbs Up!
A MUST See....

This historical drama starring Cynthia Erivo who plays an American icon, Harriet Tubman.  A young woman who was born into slavery and who, in the mid-19th century, dared to escape her owners’ plantation on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Alone she courageously traveled more than 100 miles on foot to Philadelphia into freedom and then become "Moses" of the Underground Railroad. She then ultimately took 19 trips back to the South and escorted more than 300 slaves north, demonstrating courage and integrity. She dedicated her life to leading other enslaved people to freedom, eventually becoming a leader in the abolitionist and suffrage movements.

My little brother, MJ and I are here to honor our Veterans.
